“Thank YOU!”

“Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is an annual one-day holiday to give thanks at the close of the harvest season. In the United States, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, and in Canada it is celebrated on the second Monday in October. In the United Kingdom, Thanksgiving is another name for the Harvest festival, held in churches across the country on a relevant Sunday to mark the end of the local harvest, though it is not thought of as a major event (compared to Christmas or Easter) as it is in other parts of the world. This tradition was taken to North America by early settlers, where it became much more important.”

I think that every father thinks that once his son gets a Degree then money comes.

This is not true.
Neither my father nor I did know about it though.
I had to learn that lesson the hard way.

About 13 years ago I was talking with my father. Things were difficult for me on that time but I was young with many hopes and I had also invested to some years of studies. On that particular period some “good things” happened that were promising a good job for me. And I remember myself saying:

“It’s harvest’s time.”

That’s what I was thinking. Of course, it was NOT harvest’s time… that time, but that’s what I had believed.

On the 23rd of November 2006 people in the US give thanks “at the close of the harvest season.”

It’s a metaphorical and symbolic holiday.

I had to sail more than 14 years in my personal Sea and be my own Legend of my custom made adventures in order to be able today to spell again:

“It’s harvest’s time.”

Today is different of course.
And yes…

“It’s harvest’s time.”

I do not know how many years will pass for you in order to reach your own harvest’s time. I really do not know, because you control this.

But I do wish you not to give up.
Do not give up.

Believe in your dream, in your vision.
You do have a vision… right?

If not, create one. And thing Big. You must think Big. Chances are that life will make a % of your dreams a reality. So maximize that percentage by thinking BIG. Allow all others to think on the other way.

As I have also said – many times in the past:

- Everything is a Journey and only the Journey counts. We finish that journey when we die. As “Johnny Walker” says it: Keep Walking (TM) no matter what happens in that journey… Just keep walking…

- Even the most extravagant scenario of the most wicked mind is a fairy tale in contrast to what LIFE can bring in 1 second to you. And everything can happen in just 1 second: all good and all bad things. Be ready for both situations.

So…

Although I DO know that today I reached just another “pit” in my personal journey in this life, I also have the need to…

THANK YOU.

YOU – my dearest subscriber.

I thank you for many reasons:

First of all because YOU ARE THERE.

That means a lot to me. Actors live for the applause they get from their audience. I live for your feedback in any kind of “format:” from subscribing to this newsletter to ordering any turbo product and also to just commenting this message and just saying “Hello John!”

Imagine an actor playing in an empty room.
He’d have given the most pathetic performance.

So, I THANK YOU VERY MUCH for being there.
Just for BEING there means a lot and sometimes it’s enough.

Secondly I thank you because you believe in me.

This is not easy: to find someone to believe in you, in your dreams, in your vision, in your SYSTEM.

This is not easy: I know it and you also know it.

And it’s even more difficult to have some 1000s of people believing in you.
Sometimes only this makes my adrenaline to hit red…

It’s amazing.
It’s “fantastic” as a friend would say…
It’s a blessing.

And I THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this.

Thirdly, I thank you because you bear with me.

I know I am not perfect but I try hard to deliver perfection.

You deserve that.
This is what I believe.

But DOING this makes me to be too complex sometimes. I want to have the best team of subscribers on the Net and I use many “filters” for this reason: from “double optin” systems to registrations and codes.

And you respond and thus help me to maintain one of the most responsive lists on the web.

This is how I can talk with you so personally, because I can feel the quality in your soul.

Maintaining a responsive list is not easy, but it’s possible because of YOU.

And for this reason I also THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I shall not end this message with a sales pitch because it’d destroy everything.

I did not write to you today for selling anything. And you also know that when I do it I always have a purpose: either because I believe in a product/service or because I want to double and triple the value of a suggested purchase through my bonuses or just because banks require from me to pay my bills every month.

So today, there is nothing for sale. Not a single link. I shall continue to prove my feelings to you by offering gifts on other occasions anyway – as I do it regularly.

For today all I wanted to say is a

*** BIG THANK YOU ***

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL no matter where you live on Earth!

Yours,

John Delavera

p.s. And of course & to be fair I thank: God, my parents, my wife and Life in General for allowing me to live my dreams in the way I dreamed them.

p.p.s. Please spend some time today and tomorrow and thank the people you love. Some of them may need this.

  1. Hey John,

Its just over 1-1/2 months since I first heard of you, and your fantastic persona Turbo Man. LOL

Owning a Traffic Exchange, I would’ve thought I’d have seen your site or products, as I see many.
I actually found you through Google one day when I was comparing a Butterfly to a Manager.

I’m glad I did. Not just because of your products, but because of the man behind it. Once I saw you
were actually there working behind the scenes I knew you had integrity. There are many out there
that just put the site up, rake in the cash, and you never here from them again.

Thank You for taking the time out of your day/night to post this!

Wishing You and Yours a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

    Respectfully,

    Robert Palmer

  3. John,

I just wanted to say Hi, Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving back to you. Yes, success of the internet is indeed difficult; a slow and painful process. But with people like you, leading the way, showing us how, many of us will make it (hopefully that includes me). I would love to be able to get into your mentoring program, but the funds just are not available now.

Please keep up your hard work, helping us along. The products and services available through Turbo Membership (and probably your other memberships) are fantastic.

    Hi John,
Your blog comes at a very appropriate time and your title caught my attantion.

Yes my son graduated last June at Elon College. And the money has been still pouring out as it didnt stop when he graduated. Car Payments, Insurance Health & car etc.

But I got a great Thanksgiving surprise. My son came home for the Holidays and informed us that his new job he took last summer in the Investment Field has really paid off. After 4 years of college, several months of intense studying for his Certification he will be given (earned ) an office of his own with a large installed client base.

The rewards will not be instantanious but financial success is in site and our investment in him with parenting and financially sheparding has more than paid off.

WE have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

    Thanks John,
I too, celebrate Thanksgiving day as a special day in my life, as I was born on that day, many
years ago when it was the last Thursday in the month. I had one birthday on Thanksgiving day
and President Roosevelt decided to change it to the fourth Thursday of Nov.

My mother always celebrated my birthday that day, so I got to have that as my special day.
So everyone gave thanks on my birthday and that made me feel special as I got gifts also.

Thanks John for jarring my memory of the times of long ago when we were so innocent and
    naive.

  12. Hi, John!

Thank you for another excellent Delaverian post… kind of reminds me
of the one I made at my blog earlier today–I’m just reading yours now.
I guess it’s as they say, “great minds run on the same track”, lol.

Thank you John for continually “over-giving” of yourself to your friends,
partners, customers, subscribers and to the IM community as a whole.

If enough marketers choose to follow the lead and example of marketers
like yourself, the ‘Net and particularly IM would be a much better–and more
    prosperous–venue.

    Your friend (and ‘Raving Fan’)

  14. Thank YOU John, just for being yourself. You are a major source of inspiration for me and the way I interact with my subscribers and customers. I deeply admire you and hope to become someday at least 1/100 of what you are. I know it will take time, but it’s comforting to know that there are people like you to help along the way.

You received my first testimonial ever and got me started on the right direction from the first day I subscribed to your newsletter. For that I cannot thank you enough.

And I deeply understand how serious you are about being thankful with your subscribers, because I for sure am with mine. Just getting a nice reply from a reader can make your day.

Have a great holiday and keep rocking, “Shakespeare” :) I still smile when I remember your newsletter issue about how you wanted to be a writer!

    Kindest regards,

    Juan Pablo Cangas

  15. Thank You John!

Great post …it sure helped me to reflect on why I’m still a sub of yours. When I started publishing about 4 yrs ago, with AdMistress Advertising, I recall Marion Stearns (the Flashy AdMistress) saying “watch this guy … he’s going places” and here you are … still giving with an honest heart to help others. We lost Marion in the ‘Katrina Hurricane’ but her memory is still strong in the pubs that are still a part of AdMistress Advertising. And me … I’m still ‘watching this guy’ and learning.

    Thank YOU … and
    Blessings to You and Yours

  19. John,
I have known for years that the next big thing happening right now is internet commerce. We spend our lives accumulating information and learning nothing (that is, how to use the information). Since I had a stroke, I was forced to change my lifestyle in many ways. It has been so refreshing to find someone who wil constantly over-deliver information that is valuable but also offer a system of using that information for everyone. Your stuff is a turbocharged win-win-win for all involved. Even when I think I can no loger pay the small monthly Turbomembership fee, I trust you to deliver and God provides the money coming from areas I had no idea. I give thanks for you Turbo-Pilgrim for a constant refreshing of the idea that an enlightened idea with hands on involvement can do great things. You help renew my hope. God bless you! Have a turbo-good time with your blessed family.
    Respectfully,
    Barney
