This is how co-registration services work.
Welcome back! Remember to download the Big Yellow Book of Turbo Marketing Secrets at !
Now that the promotion is over I want to tell you some things about the “Pipelines” profits, the co-reg systems and anything similar…
As you probably noticed I did not promote that system for 2 reasons:
1) I did not order it so I do not know what’s inside and
2) I trusted my intuition that said it was not the right product for me.
Why?
Because I am a perfectionist. This is why I chose to use the “turbo” brand…Â Because I want to exceed all efforts to what ever I do… to walk 100s of “further miles” and offer the best of me to what I am dealing with. I also saw some of the videos offered through that promotion and realised that I’d have to pay some 10s of 1000s of dollars in order to REPLICATE the results given by those marketers and moreover: EXCEED those results..
Let me explain.
First things first:
Have you ever been trapped to a “pop-up” network? These are certain sites on the Net that will display you one pop up window after another with all pop-up windows asking you to register for a fr/ee offer, to win an IPod or things like that…
When you subscribe with 1 site of those included to the “network” you are asked to subscribe with some others sites too, some other newsletters so you can “stay informed” about similar offers.
Here is a simple example:
You visit Site S. There is a newsletter there. You subscribe with the newsletter and once done, you see another form saying:
“Thank you for your subscription. Feel free to check the following newsletters too. Subscribe today and you will get Product P free of charge…”
Or another example:
You visit Site S. There is a newsletter there. You click to subscribe with the newsletter and then you see a long list with some more newsletters. You are prompted to select the newsletters you want to subscribe with using your email address.
In MOST of the cases there is ALSO a checkbox that says something like:
[ ] Click here to be informed about similar deals from our partners.
Or a checkbox that says:
[ ] Click here if you DO NOT want to receive messages from third parties.
As you can see in the first case you check the box to express your will to BE informed about new deals while on the second case you check the box if you do NOT want to receive messages from third parties.
The keywords here are these ones: “third parties.”
What a third party is in those cases?
The scenarios vary.
- You could be contacted by someone else that offers a similar product and wants to introduce it to you.
- You could receive a message by someone else that offers a similar newsletter asking from you to subscribe with it.
- You could even be added to someone else’s list and receive messages that promote products similar to the one you bought or to the initial newsletter’s subject you subscribed with.
As you can easily understand those “third parties” can be:
- marketers that bought a list from the network that receives this kind of leads
- marketers that hire the advertising services of the network you subscribed with
- partners of the network of the site you subscribed with that share the resources
etc.
The leads generated by the process described above are called “co-registered” leads.
So “co-registration” systems are the ones that:
- Allow you to use them (for a fee) and reach subscribers, or
- Offer (sell) you leads to use.
Imagine this:
Jack Smith is the owner of 1000 sites that attract 10,000 visitors per day.
Jack has applies a “co-registration” service and he states in the subscription form that by subscribing with one of the newsletters you will also receive promotional messages from third parties and/or partners. You may also read Jack’s Privacy Policy to discover that your email address may be rented or sold. That’s nothing bad for as long you are informed about it and you agree to give your email address under those terms.
Jack receives 10,000,000 visitors per day. 1% of them subscribe, thus Jack gets 100,000 subscribers per day; that is 36,500,000 “leads” per MONTH.
Jack can:
- Sell packages of those “leads” to people.
- USE his network and allow marketers to get a share of those subscribers by adding their Newsletter, product, or ANY deal to those 1000 pages.
This is a perfect co-registration service.
I hope you understood that so far.
Can you understand now how some marketers offer some tens of 100s of 1000s of email addresses to you for “building” your own list of subscribers “instantly?”
Can you now understand what happens when you are presented with multiple newsletters to join, or offers to get and or/purchase…?
Of course I cannot explore this subject 100% through this message so to describe you in details how this system of the “co-registration” services works, but you got the idea.
As said, I did not order the “Pipeline” profits system so I DO NOT KNOW what those marketers offer. What I DO know is how the co-registration systems work.
If you study further the co-registration systems you will see that everything is a matter of numbers…
Using a network that gets some millions or visitors to some 1000s of sites and having your product or newsletter displayed to those sites then indeed everything becomes a matter of numbers…
Do you display your subscription form to 10 sites with 100 visitors in total and with a 1% conversion rate?
You can get 10 subscribers per day.
Do you display your subscription form to 1000 sites with 10,000 visitors in total and with a 1% conversion rate?
You can get 100,000 subscribers per day.
It’s getting more interesting…
Suppose you got those 10,000 subscribers that way…
Now say you offer a product that sells for $47. You have tested your sales and you get 1 customer out of the 100 visitors, thus you get a conversion of 1%
You send 100,000 subscribers per day to your site and get 100,000 x 1% = 1000 sales; that is $47,000 per day.
Or
You send 1000 subscribers per day to your site and get 1000 x 1% = 10 sales; that is $470 per day.
Or
You send 10,000 subscribers per day to your site and get 10,000 x 1% = 100 sales; that is $4700 per day. <= that's $141,000 per month... (remember this example)
Or
You send the 100 subscribers per day to your site and get 100 x 1% = 1 sale; that is $47 per day.
Simple?
Can you guess now how much money you'd need to pay per day in order to get 10,000 subscribers per day and REPLICATE the success of $141,000 per month?
Much.
BUT... you can start with low numbers in all cases and then use the system in order to invest more money and get more money.
Again: I have NO CLUE what's inside the "Pipeline' profits' system.
But this is how the co-registration services work anyway.
If you have ordered the "Pipeline" profits system then send me your review and I can publish it - that's another way to get traffic too.
As for me:
I never bought leads from anybody. Once, I used a co-registration service and I was happy with it, this one: Leadfactory at www.findv.com/leadfactory which I can suggest you too strongly.
My “network” of sites have sent to me approx. 25,000 subscribers so far and I am quite happy with the results I get because I have cultivated a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with my subscribers. I am getting more than 100 subscribers per day today and I have not used and do not use co-registration services.
If you have enough money to invest then you can use a system like the one described by the “pipeline” profits, which I *assume* is good because many big names have testified that, but again:
You will lose the beauty of creating your network of YOUR PEOPLE…
Lastly, for your information and in case you did not get the “pipeline” profits system: if you want to use co-registration services, just do a search in Google and you will find much more information and many services you can use. There are also many good ebooks that introduce you with this subject.
If you have ordered the “pipeline” profits system then use it and do your best; remember to update me with your results. Your news will be eye-opening news indeed.

Hi John,
I believe you were smart to sit on the sideline and watch this as it unrolled on the internet.
Some of the big time Marketers jumped on this and sent out a lot of emails and pushed it
forward to then make more interest in the subject of Co-Registration.
The cost to me and many others was just to prohibitive and not be sure that you would make
all that cost back, even though they guaranteed the cost would be refunded if you wern’t happy.
IN time , I’m sure we will hear how well the ones that jumped on this will be posting how well
they are doing,or not.
I hope you will let us know what answers you get from the ones that got involved with this, and
how well they are doing. Thanks for posting your ideas on this.

John, you are truly a head above the crowd. I did not get “pipeline†profits system but my inbox is inundated with emails from the many marketers who are promoting it. I’m really tired of seeing this promotion but I know it won’t be long before it’s over and the next latest/greatest offer comes along.
I understand and appreciate the nature and benefits of joint ventures, but based on the newsletters I subscribe to (which are too many even though I’ve unsubscribed from some), there is too much of a good thing going on with some groups of marketers.
What’s disturbing is that with co-registration services being used the way they are, it will never end through attrition. Only when people become educated about such marketing practices will these practices end.
Thanks for another great lesson in marketing.

What shocks me are not the numbers of subscribers you can get this way, but the number of people that promote it without being able to personally endorse it.
Having said so, what *really* shocks me are the names of the people that promote it.
Obviously, even some well-known folks are willing to sell you anything as long as their commissions are high enough…
My guess is that by buying products like these, you’re chance to become one of them is pretty big!

Hello John, you are so right! I also didn’t jump on the wagon this time (TOO BROKE!) but after reading your blog about how you get 100 subscribers per day sounded interesting. Why don’t you talk a bit about how you go about doing that? I would be a faithful reader and implementer of your plan. It sure would be nice to not cost anything as well! Remember, I’m TOO BROKE!

Hi John,
Your explanation of co-reg services is simple and easy to understand. What I liked most was your comment on building a personal relationship with your subscribers. I have used a co-reg service in the past, and yes, you get the numbers, but some subscribers forget they even ticked (or un-ticked) the 3rd party Offers box, and are sometimes not the target audience for the business.
Once again, your integrity with dealing with your subscribers shines through with providing an honest review for these services so we can decide what fits out business for ourselves – without all the hype.

Now I’ve proved my instinct was right when I decided NOT to promote it to my list.
And that was a simple explanation, John!
I’ve also discussed co-registration with Joel Christopher before (in the video interview we created) and he also admitted it’s NO LONGER a viable solution as before…
Just thought I should mention…

John,
This particular promotion is just typical of what takes place on the Internet, every single day;whereby a bunch of ’so-called’ guru’s rave on about a ‘fellow guru’s’ offer, recommending it to their list of un-suspecting ‘newboys’ like me,without understanding, knowing or caring as to whether it WORKS or whether the author is capable or interested in providing the oft-times needed support…….
………thereby contributing massively to the despair and misery of their purchaser-members…who yet again, have relied upon the so-called integrity of that guru, only to once again be defrauded of their funds;more importantly their HOPE and TRUST!
Old time robbers used to “stand and deliver”,which was at least out in the open;not so those that crawl the internet;these days, all they gotta do,is build a list, make a bunch of promises, they have no intention of keeping and then “succer beware”………
Unhappily 99% of the guru’s on the Net fall into this ‘robber’ category, making it extremely difficult for the rest of us to make an honest living on the Net…………..so if anyone ‘out there’ has found a guru with both integrity and ability, please let me know-thank you
Sincerely

Hi John,
Thanks for that John, I did not know wah it was but as with others, I did not like the sound of it.
I recently went to a page where you recieved free self improvement products using the “butterfly” script. I registered but has to push the button twice. The note said this was due server load as the site was so popular. I recieved 2 seperate confirm emails from different people. I did not confirm iether.
So Get Response’s scheme where you can select to register on other lists is Co Reg?
I still think one could use all the marketing srtategies in the world, but nothing would be more satisfying than knowing you and your products/services are wanted and appreciated.
A bit like if you ask someone “Do you love me?” and they say “Yes” its not very satisfying. But if they just say it to you! It means so much more…

Good day John,
You made it very clear. As already pointed out, one group of ‘Gurus’ start promote some product suddenly using their list. I actually believed in some of them and thought they are honest. But the reason for sudden spurt of activity is only because of the fat commission. otherwise why they should jump into the activity just before the 2 days of the launch. I see a pattern here on the activities and the group of ‘coreg gurus’ . we can expect many more ‘Big bang’products from the same group which are in the pipeline in future. Thanks.

Hi John,
Thanks for the honest and to-the-point explanation. You are truly a rare gem in internet marketing today. Another thing I am getting really sick and tired of is the price tag on all these latest product launches. Come on gurus, let’s start ti think about the average people that are just starting out and truly struggling to try to improve their quality of life. They deserve just as much of a chance to get a real quality product that truly helps them create a better lifestyle even if they don’t currently have a fat wallet.

Hi John, l read your comments with interest, like you l did not subscribe to the pipeline offer as for me it would have been a total waste of money.
Getting co-registration leads is really easy and a very effective way of building very large mailing lists in comparatively short periods of time but my testing of every concieveable co reg leads over the past three years tells me it is not how many co reg leads you can get or how targeted you may think they are but to coin your words, the most important part of co reg leads is how you make the first contact and then how you continue to build their trust until they can go from suspects into prospects.

John, just as usual, you hit the nail right on the head. I can attest to your statement of YOUR subscribers being YOUR PEOPLE! You do establish a personal relationship with your subscribers.
I have many times gone to the TURBO help support page and registered a support ticket. This is available with many membership site, too. But, the differences between YOUR’S and their’s is the person who answers the question with a solution. YOU answer yours while, most of the others, have a support staff person answer.
I was just remembering the 1st time I signed up for the Turbo membership in December 2005. Not knowing the full potential of the Turbo membership, nor not knowing you, I made a mistake and canceled my subscription.
I finally, read the The Big Yellow Book and the Turbo Blue Book. I realized, I needed to hook back up with you because I KNEW my success was your 1st priority. I re-registered using another e-mail address. I thought I was getting in under the radar, so to speak. It hadn’t even been 30 minutes since I had re-registered, I received an e-mail from you saying, “Welcome back!” Plus, don’t cancel again, because I will not be able to allow you back in. I thought to myself, this dude is good! He does keep up with everything going on with his programs! Awesome! Thanks, John! I will never cancel my Turbo membership.
Another example of your dedication to your members is your releasing the “Page Generator For Dummies Only!’ software. One of the best viral marketing tools I have seen in a long time. I could say more here but that would take up too much space. I put the software to use on my blog site at internet-marketing-toolman-blog.com along with a posting about the “Page Generator For Dummies Only!” and you. Very interesting reading, if I may say so! I guess, I did.
Thanks, John!

Hi John,
Before your post, I did a very easy search on Google on “coregistration leads” and the results were more than enough to illustrate me about how the service works. Now, with your input, I see now that Pipeline Profits is a super expensive package that with a little effort researching and doing due diligence you could get the same.
Probably, the best thing on the package was the “Rolodex” that could save you some time researching the firms that offer coreg. But, apart from that, I couldn’t find anything worth my while in all the offerings and the videos.
Good luck to all who bought it.

Hello John,
You are absolutely right!
I am already tired from offers like “pipeline”. I cannot find something new in these offers for me… because I am full-time Internet entrepreneur and know everything about Internet marketing.
…
I think so
So, for me (I have tested it many times) it is better to build my own list in any niche I want. And convert from it not 1% but 10+% every month.
Kind regards,

Yeah John,
I am right there with you on this. The UK price converted to around £900 which regardless of how much money you have, £900 will always be £900.
There is a pattern with IM and that is, when a new product/tactic/system is unvieled and released it normally means that the people who have been using it for great profits have made their money and are happy to tell everyone about it because they know that the system/product/tactic is not as profitable as it was or is coming to the end of it’s successful life.
Better still, their reason for releasing their secrets is because they have already discoverd the next big thing and have moved on. All they are really releasing is a carcass of a product which will be swarmed upon and the last remaining scraps of meat it contains will be fought over.
Seriously, if you knew how to make money hand over fist in such a way, would you relveal so much about it for $1,000,000 ? These guys could make that much in a week with what they know.
As always, it is the massess who are throwed some crumbs because the read bread has already been taken.
I sit and wait for the next “big thing” in IM to be released and I am glad I did not buy in to it or promote it.
Thanks for a great post John,
Regards,
Michael Sherriff
