“My Magic Thing” or “My Law of Attraction”

Welcome back! Remember to download the Big Yellow Book of Turbo Marketing Secrets at !

I wrote this article for TurboZine on April 2, 2005 (Issue #107)

Since many people talk about the “Law of Attraction” today, I think it’s the good timing for reminding it to you. :)

Enjoy it!

John Delavera

“My Magic Thing”

One day, someone told me that if you know where you’re going, other people step aside for you to pass.

I’ll always remember that. This is the only “self-help” lesson I remember. And this is the most difficult thing to do: know WHERE you’re going…

It took me years to learn WHAT I wanted to do and WHERE I had to walk through for reaching my dreams… Yes, it was the most difficult life-experience/lesson.

How can YOU do that easily? How can YOU be 100% sure that what you DO is the right thing?

Tough question, eh? The answer is tougher…

Do not think I am a lunatic… ok? Because the answer is

“Ask the Universe to send you a sign…”

OK… I said it… And I can hear myself telling me…

“Hey John… What are you saying to 1000s of people…???”

:)

I say what I feel. I say what I feel and ALSO what I believe is true. I say what worked for me and what I believe can work for you, because there is no reason for this …’thing’ NOT to work for you since it worked for me… right?

So, if you are not sure if what you’re doing is good or not, correct or false, the right “thing,” or the wrong way/path to go, just ask for a sign.

It works.

It always works, but there is only 1 condition for this “magic thing” to work for you.

This is it:

You must have done your BEST.

Re-read the last phrase: You must HAVE done your BEST. If not, then that ‘magic’ thing will NOT work and the sign will never come.

Have I gotten a sign? Oh yes.

Actually, if I told you my story, then you’d really believe that I should be locked up in an asylum…

But I am telling you that I am a very ‘grounded person. I dream a lot, but I work HARDER… and I always do MY BEST.

Next question: how will YOU be sure that you’re DOING YOUR BEST??

Mmm… that’s easy…

Here it is: Look at your competitors. See what they do.

Do not observe the successful people if you are not successful yet. Observe what the newbies do if you are a newbie. Study YOUR EQUALS… And…

…then see what…

…YOU CAN DO BETTER!

That’s the secret my dear reader…

Outdo your current competitors… There will always be competitors in YOUR class and level.

Do not look higher than the level you are at right now.

See straight ahead and study what all other people LIKE YOU do for improving their lives… study them… study and learn what they DO… and DO IT BETTER.

If you follow that practice, you’ll see that you’ll start changing levels… You’ll see a new kind of competitor in front of you – much harder to compete with, for sure, but again: Study them, those are your equals now, see what they do, and DO IT BETTER…

Note: better can be replaced by “easier,” “cleverer,” etc…

Then ask for a sign. If you do what I suggest to you, the sign will come…

It’d be a letter from someone asking for help. Have you imagined how difficult it is to GAIN THE TRUST of people?

It could be a prize for what you have done so far. Do not allow prizes to stop you from what you’re doing. Keep going…

It could be a request for an interview… In marketing terms, it’d be a JV request… Yeah, that’s a good sign…

But do not allow yourself to rest… Keep it going. Always see what all other people LIKE YOU (your “equals”) do and… DO IT BETTER.

Do you know what will happen?

You’ll reach the top of the mountain and you’ll not understand how you did it…

And then… while being on top, the world will look very, very different from that high…. level.

You’ll even see those “people like you,” all those of your “once-upon-a-time-equals” – whom you’d been observing, still trying to reach the top you’re standing on… Because YOU overdid what you HAD to do – while THEY just continued doing what they had been doing…

And yes, this is a marketing lesson.

Since you’re reading these lines, you want to become an Internet Marketer. Oh my God… You want to become the TOP of the TOP online professionals… because:

“If you master Internet Marketing, you will be able to master any niche…”

Remember?

If that phrase does not mean anything to you, then read PART II of ‘My Early Days On The Net’ at www.turbodays.com/index.shtml

FYI that ebook is offered through the Vault at www.turbomembership.com as a must-read ebook.

Sincerely yours,

p.s. OK… here are some examples of people who do “things” better than others.

I’ll use Mary and Helen as examples. Mary studies what Helen does and Mary does it better, ok? Here are the examples:

Helen writes an ebook, compiles it, and sells it. Mary writes an ebook, hires my friend Joe, www.joechengery.com, to proofread her work, and then compiles the ebook and sells it. Mary did it better…

Helen had an idea for a script; she hires a programmer at eLance.com, and when the script is done, she sells it. Mary does the same thing AND when the script is ready, goes to Warriors, www.findv.com/warriors, asks for some beta-testers to test the script with/for her, and in exchange, she gives the script free to her beta-testers. When/If no bug exists, Mary starts selling the script. Mary did it better.

Helen sells her ebooks through Clickbank and Paypal. She creates her Clickbank links and the Paypal order buttons, includes the links in her page, and starts getting the orders. Mary sells her ebooks by using www.jvmanager.com – Mary decided to invest in JVManager because she wanted to do THE BEST for her online business right from the beginning. Mary has a centralized system for recording & tracking her customers, sales, and affiliates, while Helen still uses “a pen and a paper” to track her progress. Mary did it better.

Well… the last example was quite “commercial” and like an “ad,” but think about it for a while and you’ll see that I am going somewhere with this… I am offering you a LIFT to climb that mountain more easily than all “others…” Think about it, do your research, and you’ll see what I mean…

p.p.s. There is no “Yes, I know… but…” It’s either Black Or White… You either do your best or you don’t. You either reach the top of the mountain or you don’t; you cannot reach that top “a bit.” You either go ahead of others or you don’t. Results and ONLY results count, as always, and always the results make the difference. “Only-Wishes-With-No-Action” are good for the magic world of children and not for the “expenses-full” world of adults…

p.p.p.s. Nope… do NOT think I want to look smarter… I do not suggest things that did not work for me. I was there… And you have every right to make things work for you too. What I suggest worked for me. I do not promise that “My Magic Thing” will work for you, but I am sure it will, if you do what I suggested. And if I am wrong, you’ll have learned many, many things on the road anyway. All you have to do is: DO your best better than your equals.

p.p.p.p.s. Sometimes I just write and send my articles… and then ask from Joe (my editor) to edit them and be sure that no mistakes, typos and errors exist. It’s a bad practice started many years ago that I cannot stop… Do you know why? Because I prefer to do what I think I HAVE to do and make it even better later on, instead of doing nothing or even postponing what I can do today… Mmm… That sounds like a Strange Delaverian Logic… It is. And it works.

    PS:
I don’t know what if my pervious postings (that I posted for several times but no one appear s in reply box untill now).
But as your advice I am trying to get the “Code”.
Now I am preparing something new for me to barter with you.
No, this is not “equal battle” but who knows?
I send my inner voice to the Universe: “I will finish by ebook and ask John to Barter it with His ebook!”
Isn’t it the lesson of your current posting?

Great Post John. You’ve put the Law of Attraction in action. First know what it is you want, then visualize yourself already having it, and then keep focused and move toward it and the Universe will bring it together. The moving is the part a lot of people seem to miss, but it’s critical. The other, as you mentioned is to ASK. Ask and you shall receive. Not only do I ask for signs, but for assistance as well.. all of the time. It works.
    All the best,
    John Michael Christian
