Dear John,
You might appreciate the comments and story of another fine teacher, just the beginning part here:

I chuckled at his "shock", as the expectations of sincere Aikido students are similar to your comments above.

Dear John,
I appreciate your message about self-responsibility and giving. These are fundamental to a person's spiritual path. I am always searching for a balance and feel that there is far more I could offer. I am new here and do not know you well, but I do know you have been incredibly generous to me and this spirit runs throughout the people around you.

I mostly wanted to take a moment here to acknowledge Donna and Ed each on their own for how much I have received from each of them in their own fine ways.

Donna has been a great teacher and advisor both with Fantasos, and many chats we had had about all kinds of website design details. I enjoy her clarity, directness and friendliness. She is beyond generous with her knowledge and her time, in spite of the time and other pressures on her. I understand your comments about her strength and effectiveness. I am very glad she is helping us.

Ed has been an incredible supporter for me. He must look for the best in everyone. It is a great gift to be able to encourage the best in others. He has given me lots of good ideas about website building too, and I will mention some in the forum. Since I found them helpful so might others. I feel an immediate connection with Ed, and I definitely want to acknowledge his patience with so many questions.

Thanks very much.
