On February 25, 2008 I told you about the Turbo Class I was going to run starting from March 1.

I told you that I was going to post a project at www.rentacoder.com for a brand new script, and was going to report everything to the class, so everybody could see how a product is created from scratch – and more… read on.

Now… read what happened:

The Class started on March 1, 2008 indeed.

I sent a PDF file to the Class with the specifications of the script I wanted to create. That PDF file also included the general specifications I give to all coders so to help them to create the BEST script for me.

In about 3 days I had some coders to choose from.

I sent a PDF file to the Class explaining to people how I was going to choose the coder to work with, what should they take care of when choosing coders too, etc.

For your information I have been reporting EVERYTHING and I managed to limit all communication with coders inside RAC so people could see exactly how I responded, what I wrote to coders, “WHY” I wrote what I wrote in the WAY I wrote it, etc…

So after 2 days I explained to people why was I going to hire a particular coder… Hint: I was NOT going to choose that coder because I had my reasons (I explained those reasons to the Class.) However…. While browsing the coder’s profile I saw that he had created a very known script… So I investigated the case and decided to choose him for the project.

After a couple of days I informed the Class about what happened since the day I chose the coder; I explained to people how I was going to motivate the coder – based on how he “reacted” on that project… And guess what… It worked.

After 3 days I sent a PDF file to the Class with all the communication between the coder and me, with notes explaining the logic & the meaning BEHIND the words…

I also sent an email the next day telling to people how I managed to communicate with coders that way – you cannot GUESS my secret here…

And now…

The project is almost ready… The graphics of the product are ready.

Did you count the days??

On March 6 I accepted the bid of the coder. Yesterday I released the escrow – I have not informed the Class yet about this (doing it later on today.)

So in less than 7 days I have the product almost ready – I say almost because…

… I am going to add MORE features in it now…

Since it took me only 6 days to create it, I am going to invest some more time on it and make it better. It’s COOL anyway as is, but I shall make it cooler.

Thus so far I have sent 5 PDF files of more than 20 pages each, and 2 emails to the Class where I documented everything…

And the Class has not ended yet.

Why am I telling you all these?

Because “I” could be “YOU.”

I mean… This is how I started years ago too.

With a vision, 1 idea, looking for a coder to implement it. That’s how I created TurboReferer…

p.p.s. Just in case you are wondering: “Why don’t you give a free pass to everybody – if you care that much?” then I shall answer by quoting something I wrote 6 years ago…

The point here is not to get access to “another course” but to get the “turbo know-how” that will help you to work hard for reaching your own Big Land.

Unfortunately there has been no other way to evaluate who wants to work on this project and who doesn’t… The price you see is just the key. What you will do once you open the door is your own responsibility, since I have said many times: “the copied Success cannot become a stable basis for your future,” thus you will need to improvise and discover what you can do with what you know. And this is the reason I cannot spread that key all over the Net. It’d not be fair to the ones that would like to make an exceptional use of it.
