Too many aspirins online…

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

There was a crazy doctor in a movie. He was giving an aspirin, only aspirin, to all of his patients. I think this is why people said he was crazy.

A patient had a sore stomach.

“Aspirin. Get an aspirin!” was Doctor’s advice.

A patient had a tooth-pain.

“Aspirin. Get an aspirin!” was Doctor’s advice.

A patient broke his foot.

“Aspirin. Get an aspirin!” was Doctor’s advice.

And so on..

Internet Marketers are like that Doctor…

Each one has his/her own Aspirin.

“I want to quit my morning job and make millions online.”

“Get my Aspirin” is Marketer A’s advice.

“I want to earn some extra money for feeding my 10 kids”

“Get my Aspirin” is Marketer B’s advice.

“I want to buy a new car and a house with a pool and a Porsche…”

“Get my Aspirin” is Marketer C’s advice.
.
.
.
.
.
It seems that everything is possible online today (I think that’s true) and everyone has his/her own Aspirin.

.

.

.
.

But who am I to judge others, right?

“Get my Aspirin” is what I am telling you too…

I have my own Aspirin to suggest to you, so which aspirin should you choose?

Think about it.

An Aspirin is good for headaches only. It cannot kill cancer for example.

People are different. Some of them have a great voice. Others cannot sing at all.

Some others can solve puzzles. Others hate puzzles.

Analogically, the irony we see online today (and this has been the case since - at least 1997…) an “aspirin” offered by a marketer (aka. his/her marketing USP) comes to treat the same way ALL people through a “plan.”

However, if that SPECIFIC plan with those video tutorials and those courses and those blurbs is repeated ON THE LETTER by just the 10% of the customers of that specific marketer then the question is would that 10% generate the same prosperous results?

And what’s the case with the rest 90%?

I believe that the wrong thing with the online aspirins is that almost all of them are “WEALTH-oriented.”

And I do believe this is a HUGE mistake.

As said I have my own Aspirin too but my “aspirin” is “HUMAN-oriented” instead - I’d say “YOU-oriented:”

“Find your own unique Diamond in your heart, what you can do and what you cannot do, then create a brand and proceed with the creation of products you can sell while socializing with people online and off-line.”

Take that “aspirin.”

Try to apply it to ANY case.

Doesn’t fit?

Yep.

Can you see the difference?

While there are 100s of marketing plans, methods and strategies for generating money online, those are just the “tricks” of the trade…

They do not cure. They give relief, yes, but they do not cure.

What really counts is the “human-oriented aspirin” I told you above.

Have you worked on it - with yourself?

Do you remember the message I sent you about the Dollar-market ideas’ site turbomembership.com/turboideas

That message was sent to some 1000s of people.

I checked my stats and I grasped 1 affiliate of mine.

Do you remember the “Rapid Rabbit’s” tactic? (You can search for it in this blog)

He acted like a rapid rabbit indeed.

While he did not subscribe with the suggested new membership, he grasped the idea like a beautiful carrot and APPLIED it ASAP - in a rapid speed.

I think he emailed his list ASAP. After 1-2 hours from the time I sent my message I saw his sales coming and in a matter of seconds he generated 4 sales of a total $38.19 - half of it gained as commissions.

“WOW! John!”

Some would say.

“Less than $20… what an achievement!…”

Well..

I think it’s better to generate $17 in some seconds AND on demand (that means: whenever you want it) instead of spending hours to setup Adsense sites that send you $17 in 1 month.

Correct?

Again: there are dollar-making aspirins that cure by giving you the desired freedom in your life, and there are aspirins that give just a relief.

The real marketing does not stop to dollar-making suggestions.

The real marketing should deal with YOURSELF in the center.

Dig deep inside you and find who you are. Then create your plan. And work on it. And yes, that marketing is just like that Doctor’s Magic Aspirin that can treat all patients, and it’s not a simple aspirin.

Have a good night… or morning depending where you are.

Great post John and yeah I agree. There are so many IM’ers out there all doing the same thing and following the same rehashed advice. Be yourself and relay your own personality.

    Great post as usual John!

This is excellent advice, especially for new people. The internet is bombarded with so many “me too gurus” prescribing aspirins as you say, that many of us lose our sense of direction.

Extending on your analogy above, it’s like avoiding a trip to the dentist to take care of a bad tooth that needs specialized attention. We only remember it when it starts hurting, so we just get some aspirin to get a temporary fix.

Desperation causes us to keep jumping from one opportunity to the next, looking for that quick fix. Hoping that we will make some money from the the next one.

Unfortunately, most of us continue to go around in circles and never accomplish much because we are looking for the answer on the outside, when we should be looking on the inside.

    It all starts with YOU.

    To your ultimate success,

    Godfrey
