Excellent comments and analogy. I think that there are so many "copy cats" out there thinking if it works for the "Guru" it will work for me... so tragically wrong. Network & MLM schemes giving people false hope, and when it doesn't work straight away, (The instant gratification factor) they QUIT! Marketers need to put in their own personality, by all means read the eBooks and reports and glean from them, but they need to STOP imitating... Honesty and Ethic's are very much lacking in many Hyped up Marketing scenarios... and quite honestly... its time to change the face of Internet Marketing.... I am of the opinion (and I think you agree) that everyone has something unique and valuable that they can harness and sell as their product. And it's different for everyone, which is why I don't offer any products like that, only mentoring, because I have seen what happens when entrepreneurs are left on their own with a home study kit... it gathers dust. :) I love your blog and send my clients to it so they can learn the real story.
